Olivia Rodrigo es una joven de nacionalidad estadounidense, nació el 20 de febrero del año 2003. A sus 17 años ya ha protagonizado una serie de televisión en el canal Disney Channel como Paige en la serie Bizaardvark y actualmente actúa como Nini en High School Musical: The Musical: The Series de Disney.
A parte de sus dotes de dramaturga Olivia ha demostrado al mundo entero tener mucho talento como cantante. La anterior canción a Drivers License fue All I Want, canción que fue compuesta para la serie en la que actúa a día de hoy, dicha canción ya obtuvo 31 millones de visitas. Pero esta vez ha conseguido en menos de una semana superar grandes referencias musicales como son The Weeknd (con ‘Blinding Lights’) y Bad Bunny (con la canción ‘DÁKITI’), demás de instalarse directamente en el número 1 de los más escuchados en Spotify Global tras su lanzamiento el pasado 8 de enero, y cuyo videoclip ocupa actualmente el puesto 34 entre los más vistos de Youtube España y consiguiendo el reconocimiento en redes sociales de artistas como Taylor Swift.
Podríamos comparar a Olivia Rodrigo con Ariana Grande, ambas comenzaron como intérpretes en series para el ámbito infantil y juvenil y parece que Olivia está siguiendo la misma trayectoria que Ariana al iniciar su carrera musical de una manera tan exitosa.
